Today was Day 1 of Disney. It was magical.
It was the kind of day where you get weird patches of sunburn in random places and your toes hurt from being in shoes all day.
It was the kind of day where you indulged yourself in things like Minnie ears and gargantuan Ice-Cream cookie sandwiches.
It was the kind of day that lasted from 10am-11pm and you did on 4 hours sleep.
And now, as I sit here reflecting on the Pop Century Resort’s free WI-FI (woop woop!) I can’t help but be excited that we get to have the same kind of day tomorrow.
My stresses and anxiety are now long gone. The hardest part of the trip ended last night (or early this morning) as we pulled into the hotel at 4:30am…a full 2 1/2 hours before cancellation time with 9 miles left in the gas tank.
From then on it has simply been vacation time. And I have successfully been enjoying every minute.
And without further ado…a little recap of our magical day!
(I’m disneybounding as Dumbo!)
First park of the day…Animal Kingdom! I rode Everest!
Group photos on the Tram.
Pizza in Italy for lunch…think we were hungry???
Total Ice-Cream Cookie Sandwich indulgence.
Appreciating the Art of Animation
Junk food for dinner!
Mickey’s Fantasmic Show to end the night. Absolutely incredible!!!
I hope tomorrow is just as magical…and since we are headed to Magic Kingdom, I don’t think we will have any problem making that happen. Characters and Space Mountain…I am coming for you.
I hope you all had magical days! Thanks for letting me share!
